PACKET PICKUP

Date:              Saturday, July 8, 2017                                                    You can also pick up your race materials Sunday, from 5:30AM to 7:15AM (sharp)

Time:              1:00 PM to 5:00 PM                                                                        

Place:             Tri Cities Family YMCA, West Gym


Packet pickup takes place at the Tri Cities Family YMCA in the West gym. During this time, you will pick up your race materials, shirts and bike water bottles. You also have the final opportunity to late register during this time. Blow ups of the course maps will be posted at packet pickup. If you desire, you may get body marked and rack your bike (bike racking is not mandatory but available as an option). Some of our sponsors and vendors will also be on hand to meet you and share their services and products with you.

There will be 2 race / course talks by the race director. The race director will also any questions you might have. These will be held in the gym at:

  • 2:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM


YOU MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING:

  • Photo Identification
  • Participant number (Numbers will be posted near the entrance of packet pickup)


YOU WILL PICK UP THE FOLLOWING:

  • Your race bib number
  • Race I.D. wrist band (MUST be worn to enter transition area and take part in the event) These will be placed on your wrist by volunteers at packet pickup.
  • Bike number (MUST be affixed on your bike's frame)
  • Helmet number (Must be affixed on front of your helmet)
  • Timing chip and ankle strap
  • Draw string backpack
  • "Dri-Fit" tech shirt
  • Bike water bottle


STEPS TO THE PACKET PICK-UP PROCESS:

  1. Determine your race number. (Numbers will posted in the gym, near the entrance
  2. Proceed to the registration table to pick up your race numbers (bib, bike and helmet). You MUST show your photo ID. 
  3. Continue down the table to pick up your backpack, shirt and water bottle.
  4. Continue to end of table to pick up your timing chip and ankle strap
  5. Individual participants MUST pick up ONLY their own race materials
  6. Relay team captains may collect all materials for their team
  7. If desired, you may get your body marked
  8. If desired, you may check in and rack your bike (Security will be provided Saturday afternoon and overnight
  9. It's suggested to attend the course talk, especially if it's your first time doing a triathlon/duathlon or the Grand Haven Triathlon
