In a continuous effort to make the Grand Haven Triathlon a family event, a kid's triathlon has been added to the venue for 2009. This was a very popular requested item from athletes and spectators. The race will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Tri Cities Family YMCA and is for children ages 6 through 13 years old. Participants will swim 100 meters in the YMCA pool, bike 2 1/4 miles and run 1 1/4 miles. Awards will be given on 2 year age increments for both genders.
